I started as an editor in book publishing fifteen years ago, with the aim of learning the industry ropes and one day becoming a writer. Five years ago, I launched a publishing studio, Tandem Books, with a design partner, and today we work with major publishers across the country. We’ve done a political retrospective with the New York Times, taken a behind-the-scenes look at Young Frankenstein with Mel Brooks, and made dozens more books on everything from the Civil War to unicorns. Having worked almost exclusively in nonfiction, I now know a very little bit about a whole lot of things, which comes in handy at parties.
In addition to my editorial work, I’ve written a number of commissioned books under probably too many pen names. They're all collected here, some with previews and all with links to purchase for those still in print.
